My iPod Touch’s earpieces failed me this morning after a year’s service.. Purchased this pair since I’ve been eyeing them for quite a while anyway.

Something may not have gone right.

A failed date, a poor investment or a broken down relationship.

Sometimes we feel like giving up, putting down every responsibility we had to shoulder and walk free from the burden of expectations.

Maybe we can.

But not for long.

We always have to keep fighting, because there are too many affairs waiting for us to set right.

Most of us will never get a second chance on setting an issue right, no matter what it is.

That’s why we have to remember to give our best no matter what happens.

Always remember  - The night is always the darkest before the dawn.

No matter what comes your way, believe in yourself, believe in your choices, believe in what that comes with the dawn.

The Asakusa Kannon Temple is a Buddhist Temple located in Tokyo.

According to legends, in year 628, two brothers were out fishing at the Sumida River. They fished up a statue of Sensoji, or the Goddess of Mercy. Despite dropping the statue back into the river repeatedly, the statue did not cease to show up in their net. Eventually, the two brothers interpreted this as a divine sign and built a temple in honour of Sensoji. The temple’s construction was completed  in 645, making it the oldest temple in Tokyo.

Although we were told that it was an ordinary day in the Japanese calendar, the sheer amount of praying devotees was staggering.

Behind the temple were shops which sold various wares, from fortune cats to pastries and in this case, lanterns.

Rickshaw services were also offered around the temple. It was a massive headache for me to decide if I should show this image – This one image captured the two ladies in an apparently humorous and enjoyable conversation with the rickshaw puller, but the image was slightly out of focus and none of the subsequent images had the same emotional content.

I opted for emotional content instead of technicality – Despite being obviously out of place as their rickshaw were flanked by a fleet of cars in the modern city of Tokyo, the three of them seemed oblivious to the rest of the world as they shared an apparently amicable conversation.

I’m not someone who has travelled much, but Hokkaido will definitely be one of the most beautiful places I ever visit.

We see what we want to see, so never forget to appreciate everyday objects in another way.
